Overview

Peptide Curious (peptidecurious.ai) is an educational quiz that matches your stated goals to research-backed peptides. You do not need to create an account to use it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have.

What we collect

We keep collection deliberately minimal:

• Quiz answers — the options you select as you move through the quiz. These are stored in your browser's local storage so you can refresh or come back without starting over. Clearing your browser data removes them.
• Email address — only if you choose to enter it on the results gate and tick the consent box. There is no name field and no phone field.
• Answer profile and match — when you submit your email, we store the tags derived from your answers, your full answer set, and the ID of your primary match alongside that email, so the results email we send is relevant.
• Timestamp — when the submission was made.
• Basic analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage events such as quiz started, question answered, results viewed, and outbound link clicked. These are not tied to your identity.

What we do not collect

We do not collect health records, medical history beyond the quiz options you select, payment details, government identifiers, or precise location. We do not ask for your name or phone number. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; the quiz stops before results for under-18 respondents.

How we use it

We use the information above only to:

• Generate and display your peptide match, alternatives, and cautions.
• Email you your results and related educational content, if you consented.
• Understand in aggregate which parts of the quiz work well and improve the tool.

Skipping the email step

The results gate always offers a skip link. If you skip, no email address and no lead record are stored — your answers stay only in your own browser.

Where it is stored

Submitted leads are stored in a managed cloud database (a table named quiz_leads) hosted by our infrastructure provider, protected by row-level access rules so records are not publicly readable. Data may be processed on servers located outside your country.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the site and send email (hosting, database, email delivery, analytics), each acting on our instructions, or where we are legally required to disclose it.

Retention

Lead records are retained while they remain useful for the educational email program, and are deleted on request. Quiz state in your browser persists until you retake the quiz or clear your browser storage.

Your choices and rights

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all future messages. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise any of these by replying to any email you receive from us.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to save your quiz progress. Any analytics cookies are used only for aggregate measurement. You can block or clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings; the quiz will still work, but progress will not be saved between visits.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and restricted database access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and revise the effective date below.
